ABOUT CONSCIOUS RECOVERY
Conscious Recovery is a groundbreaking and effective approach to viewing and treating addiction that can transform your clients' lives. Author and spiritual teacher TJ Woodward is changing the conversation about addiction and mental health concerns because he recognizes that underneath all addictive and maladaptive behavior is an essential self that is whole and perfect.
The Conscious Recovery Method moves beyond simply treating behaviors and symptoms. It focuses on the underlying root causes that drive destructive patterns, while providing clear steps for letting go of core false beliefs that lead to addictive tendencies. Whether it is unresolved trauma, spiritual disconnection, or toxic shame, these challenges need to be addressed in order to achieve true and permanent freedom.
Conscious Recovery can add an additional layer of support to your staff and clients with books, workbooks, and an adjunctive 24 group curriculum that can easily be integrated into your facility. It is not intended to be a replacement for any clinical approach, but is designed to be an enhancement to the other clinical modalities your program currently offers.

The Core Principles of Conscious Recovery
Conscious Recovery is a fresh perspective on addiction. What happens when we view ourselves or our clients as broken? What does that perspective create? What would it be like if we opened to a completely new way of viewing addictionand mental health treatment?
